Space Antelope is taken from the forthcoming debut album ‘We Are Yours’ (out this July) and perfectly showcases the band’s global pop aesthetic – an infectious blend of Highlife-style guitar licks, Mariachi-band trumpets and percolating basslines.
As if that wasn’t enough, the Maxi-single is positively stuffed with top-draw re-interpretations, each adding a fresh twist on the group’s signature sound. From the faithful re-working of Panzon's toy-robot calypso beats, through Brighton's very own best-kept-secret, Shuffling Strangefoot's glitched hybrid, and on to the cool, galloping hypno-grooves (or are they hooves?) of T'M's hazy, spectral de-construction.
